First off, right out of the gate, CV has severely hit my workplace and quarantine is a stupid choice for any economy. Wear a mask, wash your hands, stay home if you are sick! Don't kill commerce because of fear!
Ahem.
So, I'm concidered a vital person for my company and that means lots more hours at work. Which translates to less writing. And I went around 4 whole days with just nothing. Chapter 7 is a transition chapter, heavy on the exposition and kinda moving characters around so they are where I wanted them to be for Chapter 8. AND I wanted to make sure I did all that without it FEELING like I was just moving the characters along, I wanted it to feel organic. There are also at least five instances of important foreshadowing that needed to be in here so later chapters would make sense. Then there's a quick couple of orgasms at the end and the team is ready for all the allocation fun of Chapter 8.
What I'm saying is Chapter 7 is slow and word-heavy and awkward, but it needed to happen, so I agonized how to make it LESS awkward and seem as if it was naturally going in the right direction. It will probably be rewritten entirely sometime in the future. Only got 7,000 words this week. I am such an author failure!
Whenever I have Writers Block, I tend to putter. I'll refresh social media pages over and over again like a shlub and keep having my anxiety rise until I pop a Xanax and breathe into a paper bag (not a metaphor). Almost got to Xanax stage this week. I decided to at least putter productively. Chapter 15 is a big Harmony chapter and I had everything roughly outlined, but I spent a day crunching the actual Status numbers. Still blocked, I moved onto a website with connective RSS feed and a Goodreads account that has confirmed I am the author of BM. I was VERY SURPRISED to see BM was already listed on GR and had a few reviews! I even joined an erotica group and posted a few times for marketing reasons and I was delighted to see an upswing in my Amazon sales rating! Thank you all new readers!!
Moving forward, the plan hasn't changed much. Work is still work and the next few chapters are introducing a new girl while getting a little focus on Miaka and Dolly. Chapter 8 is mostly filled with fun allocation so I don't see any problem writing it, though these chapters sometimes take longer as I have to open up spreadsheets and conversion programs to make sure the Status is copacetic. Then after the first interlude, the story really kicks into high gear as the rest of the girls for this book are introduced and new Races are explored thoroughly.
Hmm, probably gonna need to hop on the interwebs and...research...some detailed artwork of certain types of monster girls. *drools*
I also contacted a secret person to help me with a secret project which meant I spent a whole day working on the script for said secret project. I'll let you know when it will no longer be a secret project, probably around Q4 of this year.

While I'm sad you didn't like my story, your words have taught me that I need to do a better job at marketing and describing my story so that it reaches the right audience.
