BOOYAH!! 21,000 words!
Before I squirt any more over how excited I am at nailing so many chapters this week, quick IRL update. I may have spoken prematurely in my last post. My company had us work at home all week but they've gotten everything cleaned up and put in some new protocols, so its work as usual sometime next week. I'm both relieved and frustrated, but that's life. Now back to how awesome I am!
Chapters 10, 11, 12 and Interlude 1 all rough drafted! I was in the zone, words were coming hard and fast over and over and I couldn't stop. Even got a little into Chapter 13 today, but now I believe I have earned some alone time with Mr. Rabbit. While I get warmed up I figured I'd let you in on all the good news and so this post is brought to you with fingers a little more sticky than usual.
We are now into section two of the book and I am all kinds of hot and squirmy to get myself stretched out. The first big Harmony changes happen in only a few chapters as well as a huge scene I've never seen or read before in anything outside of the most perverted of hentai, and even then I can only think of one classic that touched on this. I'm a little scared. I think it will be a fantastic scene and you perverts are going to foam and cream over it, but it will definitely be different.
Also gonna spend some time in these chapters introducing a butt-load of new characters. Most of them will be background people but enough of them will become important to the plot, so I have to give them proper names and mannerisms and backgrounds. I might have to spend a day looking through online clothing stores so I can have them all properly dapper for your reading pleasure (I know it isn't everyone's kink, but a properly described outfit means a lot to some people). Most of these people won't show up until Chapter 17, though, so still got a ways to go.

Where was I? Hey, I heard Ōtake Masao is finishing up Hinamatsuri. This makes me both sad and happy, but mostly happy because I hope it means we'll get more anime soon. The manga is fantastic but the anime adds so much depth with its perfect comedic timing. Just finished rewatching with the spouse and the entire season is a laugh-a-minute riot. Hitomi is my favorite character. Next on the rewatch list is Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun.
Got any other suggestions for wacky love comedies? Other favorites of mine are Skip Beat! Ōran Kōkō Hosuto Kurabu and Fushigi Yuugi (I laugh plenty when I'm not bawling!). I also like Himouto! Umaru-chan, but I think I'm just jealous of that spoiled brat and her life of decadence. I yell at the TV every time I watch that show!
Oh! While I was havin' some fun on the Goodread boards, I accidently came up with an idea for an erotica superheroine story. Props to Sedusa for helping me out! So when Book 3 is done sometime next year, I'll probably get to writing a standalone novella that will be more silly than the adventures of Honoka and her harem. Only have a paragraph now, but that might change depending on how much writer block I get in the coming months.
Anyway, time to crank this...marital aide up to 11 and turn on some porn!
